YTB: Why "Your Travel Business" Is On A Flight To Nowhere.
My name is Jayson and Thank You for visiting my blog. Prior to getting started online I was a contract truck driver. When the economy started to dip I was one of the first to take the hit. I lost my career, my self confidence and almost my family's home. I was forced to do something else and with no sales experience, no confidence and nothing else to fall back on I turned to my old desktop computer to see if I could make a buck. I heard of it being done all around me but I never believed it was possible. After trying hundreds of programs, both very good and very bad, I have learned the hard way on how to really make money online and I'm here to help you make the right choice for your hard earned cash.
Why has YTB taken a nose dive in the Network Marketing World?
YTB stands for "Your Travel Biz". It saw a trend with the baby boomers getting ready to retire and we all know that baby boomers love to travel so they started at just the right time. YTB was growing at a rapid rate in 2007. The business went from having 62,000 reps in October of 2006 to over 150,000 by February of 2007. The concept of having your own "Expedia or Orbitz" was very interesting and being able to get paid whenever someone booked travel on your personal website was unbelievable. Travel Cheap + Earn Money
= Major Hook.
Boomers were lining up by the thousands to sign up for their own travel business and the hype that the professional salesman YTB recruited to do their dirty work was working as planned. You see when a company needs to get off the ground they make "deals" with "professionals" to go out and recruit everyone in site. "Deals" are really considered marketing or an investment back into the company. What I mean is a "professional" comes along and a company will offer them first shot at getting in the company, a different and better compensation plan than what others will get and usually a bank roll of cash to go out and market and recruit for them. That's why you here stories like "I just got in last month and I'm making $10,000/month already. Not to mention I'm just an average Joe just like you". They fail to say that they are a professional recruiter and that they got financial backing from the company.
This kind of non-sense goes on all the time. I guess you can say that it's just part of business. Just another way to market and expose your great product or service. And maybe it is. But Hyping people up with "rags to riches" stories does nothing for them when they don't have the money to promote their new opportunity or the years of knowledge and skill that a professional has in their aresenal.
YTB was a great concept at first but charging people $50/month for a website that would make them $200 in commission for the YEAR is not a good business model. Yes I know you have the referral commission of getting people started in their own business but that obviously doesn't go to far. Give people a good, solid business model with a great product that they can benefit from without having to recruit people into the business and you will have long lasting business relationships.
Network Marketing Works! But don't get caught up into the latest greatest opportunity because it takes desire, knowledge and skill to build anything worth while. If your looking to benefit from the product yourself and want to make a little and then a little more and then a little more and eventually replace your take home pay than keep in mind it takes money for marketing, desire to keep pressing ahead and skill to increase and maximize your profits.

Aweber: Why Does Everyone Recommend This Email Marketing Service?
Why does everyone and their Grandma recommend Aweber?
Aweber is an email marketing service that has been at the top of the "A" list for as long as I have known about the net. I remember when I first got my computer, my wife Tammy had to show me how to set up my hotmail account. I thought it was the coolest thing when I was able to email her and instantly get a reply. It was called Instant Messaging and I was hooked.
I began to build my little list but I didn't know what to really say to anyone. I would promote the survival parties we would have. I would promote the gigs I would play. But who would have ever thought that you could build an email mailing list, promote things that others sold, and make money completely and totally passively. That's really what Aweber is all about.
Aweber is a service that allows you to capture lead lists (First name, Last name, email address etc...) and let your list know about the latest information, products or services you feel like sharing. With the whole SPAM act that come into the internet world, Aweber still does a fantastic job delivering your emails so people will actually get them.
The one draw back to Aweber is that you can't load your existing list(s) but that makes them totally SPAM compliant and allows for very a reliable delivery service. Aweber is $20/month and that's for unlimited amount of campaigns and autoresponder messages.
Oh yeah, that's what Aweber is really all about. You can have someone sign up to your list and they will get scheduled emails from you for as long as you want them to. If you have something you want to promote for the day or something you really want to say to your list, you can send a broadcast out to your list with one "click".
I highly recommend Aweber for all your email needs. It's very reliable and very consistent and if your doing internet marketing, the last thing you need is to question if the sales emails you took hours to write, ever reached your customers.
(Click Here) to try out Aweber for a buck. That's right, I said $1 and if you like the service your only out the cost of a single dinner ($20/month).

Hostgator: What Internet Marketing Guru's Call the Hosting with the Mosting

Hostgator: What in the heck is hosting anyway?
Today I thought before I go any further that I should give a review on the most popular hosting site on the net.
Hostgator is a popular hosting site where anyone can build a website and they will "host" it for you. So what does "hosting" mean? Hosting is the storing, serving, and maintenance of files for websites. You own the website and all the content on the website but you store the information with a hosting company who makes it easily accessible on the internet. They must be reliable because Billions of dollars are exchanged on the net each day and it would not be possible if websites were not accessible or kept being interrupted.
Hostgator is extremely reliable and has hundreds of functions ready for you to use for as little as $4.95/month.
Where else can you run a profitable business for $4.95//month? When your website needs call for multiple pages, e-commerce or even already made templates so you can just plug in the info and make it "live", I highly recommend Hostgator for a simple beginner website or a million dollar money maker.
The internet is filled with opportunity. You can start a simple website for free and immediately start to make money from it. That is a great starting point but when you learn you can make more and have more control of your profits with just a small investment into hosting your own site, it's a no brainer.
(Click Here) to get started with a Hostgator website. They have an awesome support staff and hundreds of website templates to chose from to get going right away. Send me an email when you do and I will send you a free report on "How to Make Money Immediately with Your Brand New Website"
